Dr.R.KUMUDHA M.L., Ph.D., PGDIPRL.,

Assistant Professor/Programme Officer

It’s my pleasure to present Annual Sports Report for the academic years 2018-2020. Our Physical Education and Sports Department of Government Law College, Coimbatore is well equipped with all sports materials for students interested in Athletics, Volley Ball, Cricket, Ball Badminton and Table Tennis. Our Students participate in the Tamil Nadu Inter-Law Collegiate Events organized and conducted by the Department of Physical Education, The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, Chennai every year.

“He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.” – as said by Boxer Muhammad Ali. What makes a person a success is not worldly knowledge alone but resilience, determination, strong-will and confidence that builds up within and along with an individual. Here at Government Law College, Coimbatore, we instil all the essential elements of success and confidence in our students through sports.

Our sports students have proved their mettle in academics and I take great pleasure in claiming that many of them have even bagged the best out-going students’ in our college. This is a standing testimony to the fact that academics and sports can work hand-in-hand to bring in the best among our sports students.
